HEALTH & LIFESTYLE: Hibiscus clogged pore treatment.

Welcome back to Bwiza bwa Mashira!

It's been a minute but Bwiza bwa Mashira has returned with yet another "faya" post. This time under the theme of health and lifestyle! The hibiscus face treatment for clogged pores is of my very own creation and has worked for me personally in time of need. In the summer, I tend to have clogged pores in addition, my skin has excess oil resulting into a couple of breakouts and heat rash. I had to find a solution and after carrying out some research, this worked like a charm. The effect doesn't show immediately but I do encourage consistency with this treatment. This treatment is not only for clogged pores but in addition, helps cleanse your pores and smoothen skin texture and simply refresh! This treatment is not clinically tested or approved so do take precaution while using the ingredients in this treatment. Otherwise, hope you enjoy this easy go-to treatment!

The main ingredients you will be needing in order to carry out the treatment...

1.  Hibiscus Tea bags; the hibiscus flower alone has very healthy good components for skin, not only does it have components for anti aging but in addition helps calm flashing and helps cure acne! Hibiscus teabags have tartaric, malic and citric acid which are mainly found in fruit such as grape. They help boost immunity, reduce inflammation and promote better skin. All these advantages of the hibiscus flower helped me decide for it to be the main ingredient of the face treatment. I personally use the maximum of 3 tea bags.

2. Parsley leaves! These are probably the most under rated leaves when it comes to herbs  for good skin but parsley has a lot of skin benefits, more than you can imagine. Parsley plays a big role in the cleansing of the pores allowing your face to breathe with its antifungal and antibacterial properties. Parsley also helps in the prevention of skin discoloration and acne. A simple home made remedy with parsley is boiled water with parsley for 20 minutes and washing it with your face once or twice a day.

3. Lemons, but ovcos...lemon is very popular for its health and skin benefits. It helps reduce sun burns and also works as an anti aging remedy. Lemons can also work against eczema and acne as well as reduction of blackheads, wrinkles and also giving the skin a natural glow.

4. This is what the mix should look like. The hibiscus creates a dark pink colour (that I personally love)with the mixture of the herbs. Boil it for at least 20 min and steam your face for 10-15 mins. Steaming will help open up your pores, removing any bacteria. In exchange the herbs in the treatment will be absorbed in your skin, nourishing your skin and helping it look and become healthier

5. Honey and Sugar will act as a scrub after the treatment while the face is still wet, scrub for 2 mins. However, even alone, honey and sugar can act like a scrub at least twice a week.

The 2 last steps of the hibiscus clogged pore treatment are to firstly apply egg white on your face in order to tighten pores for at least 10-15 mins .Wash off with lukewarm water, pat dry then oil your face(I strongly recommend pure olive oil). I also recommend doing this treatment at least 2 to 3 times a week.

Sincerely,
Bwiza bwa Mashira.
