INCIDENCES: The 3D Tile
As I went to the bathroom this morning, I sat down and stared at the floor. And as I am very easily fascinated these days, there it was... a tile that seemed to have a 3D effect to it. See, it was in the middle and the shadow effect in the corners made it look like a block, it made me smile. I noticed these days even watching the wind blow through trees or following a droplet fall on my bathroom wall brought me little excitement, something different as little and unimpactful as it is. Why? Back to the 3D tile, the light that came through the back window could make this little magical moment go away, by moving my head the shadow effect would be gone and revealed would be the reality of just a tile on the ground. So I did anyway, moved my head slightly to the side and just like that, a plain tile. It seems I always perceive things to be different, have depth... to prefer shadows to light. Because maybe that's all that it is, just a tile, but the trick of the possibility ...
